An extension for LibreOffice Calc that aligns all cells in the active sheet to the left.
I'll answer that question with a question.
Why is it a standard for spreadsheets to automatically align all numeric data (including currency, integers, and dates) automatically to the right?
This tells me the developers of spreadsheet apps all hang on to the traditional use of spreadsheets, which was likely accounting and forecasting.
It's annoying because spreadsheets are used for so much more these days, especially a way to table a bunch of items.
I'm not sure why number and dates should be aligned to the right, especially if the header row could be centred or left aligned, and never right aligned.
Anyway, I do not like the fact that this alignment behaviour hasn't changed in 30 years, and so this extension is just a simple quick way to get around that.
